Our commitment
Fortiori designs the consulting site for keyboard-first navigation, screen-reader support, sufficient color contrast, reduced-motion respect, and predictable focus handling. This statement describes the standard we hold ourselves to, how we test, the gaps we are aware of, and the route to report any problem you encounter.
Conformance target
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across the public consulting surface. We consider the site partially conformant: it meets much of the standard, but some content does not yet fully conform. Known gaps are listed under Known limitations below and are tracked for remediation.
Scope
This statement covers the public consulting website at fortiori.io, including the pages reachable from its main navigation and footer. The Fortiori Institute learning platform publishes its own accessibility statement for that service.
How we test and evaluate
Accessibility checks run in three layers:
- Authoring-time — each reusable interface component is checked with axe-core as part of our automated component tests.
- Per-route — an automated axe scan runs across the public consulting pages on every change, and critical or serious violations block release.
- Hand-driven — quarterly keyboard and screen-reader audits using NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS.
This statement is based on our own self-assessment using automated tooling (axe-core) and manual testing with assistive technologies. We have not yet completed an independent third-party audit; commissioning one is a planned step.
Known limitations
Color contrast in the version-one marketing palette is being tuned, and some contrast-related items are not yet at our target; these are reported in our automated checks and tracked for remediation. We track open accessibility findings and aim to close blocking findings before each major release. If you find a problem that is not reflected here, please reach out using the contact channel below so we can scope a fix.
Remediation commitment
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to ship a fix for confirmed blocking issues within one release cycle (typically two weeks). Issues that require a structural change carry a longer remediation timeline; we will say so when we acknowledge the report and keep you posted as work lands.
Compatibility and technical specifications
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) and common screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver). It relies on standard web technologies — HTML, CSS, and WAI-ARIA where needed — and uses JavaScript for some interactions with accessible fallbacks. A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) / Accessibility Conformance Report is available to enterprise and government buyers on request at accessibility@fortiori.io.
Feedback and contact
Email accessibility@fortiori.io with a description of the issue, the page or component involved, and the assistive technology and operating system you were using. We aim to respond within two business days. If you would prefer a different channel, write to support@fortiori.io and the report will be routed.
Assessment and dates
This statement was prepared in June 2026 based on testing with axe-core, NVDA, and VoiceOver, and is reviewed as the site changes and at least once per release cycle. See the "Last updated" date above for the most recent revision.
